Lori Hong – Certified RDCS Echo Technician

Lori Hong is a highly skilled and certified RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) echo technician with more than a decade of hands-on experience in adult echocardiography. She specializes in performing both Transthoracic Echocardiograms (TTE) and Stress Echocardiograms with precision and care. Working under the supervision of Dr. Cynthia, Lori plays a vital role in cardiac diagnostics by interpreting ultrasound scans and delivering accurate, detailed preliminary reports to assist in timely patient care and diagnosis.

Before entering the healthcare field, Lori earned her Bachelor’s degree in Education from Biola University in California. She dedicated 16 years of her early career to teaching in private schools, where she developed strong communication skills and a compassionate approach—traits that now serve her well in her work with patients and medical professionals.

After relocating to Valencia, California, Lori made a pivotal career shift and pursued her passion for healthcare. She enrolled at the West Coast Ultrasound Institute in Los Angeles, where she completed her training in echocardiography and earned her RDCS certification.

Lori’s unique background in education and her technical expertise in echocardiography allow her to connect with patients in a thoughtful, reassuring manner, making each visit a comfortable experience. She is bilingual in English and Korean, which enhances her ability to communicate effectively with a diverse patient population and contribute to inclusive, patient-centered care.
