“You Caught Me Loving You”
by Keith Richmond
In every word that’s spoken,
in every sound you hear
can be felt my heart awoken,
and my need to have you near.
What you see in every plate I bring,
in every flower placed just so,
is the singing of a soul content,
and a way to let you know.
Through culinary this and that,
from day until night fall,
is song of fruit and cheese and wine,
like from Julia to Paul.
Subtle though I try to be,
in each thing that I do,
you will always let me know,
that you caught me loving you.
